ALABEL, Sarangani (March 12, 2007) - Children and residents of barangay Ladol get a hands-on tutorial on the proper handling of marine turtles that must be set free immediately. The staff of Sarangani Information Office and Environmental Conservation and Protection Center initiated the release of 71 Olive Ridley ( Lepidochelys olivacea) turtle hatchlings Monday, March 12, barely two days after an adult 80-kg.
