November 25 is holiday in Sarangani

ALABEL, Sarangani (November 23, 2010) –Malacañang has declared November 25 a non-working holiday in Sarangani in celebration of the province’s 18th Foundation Day anniversary and 8th MunaTo Festival on November 25 to 27.

President Benigno Aquino III declared the holiday through Proclamation No. 68.

Proclamation No. 68 said “it is but fitting and proper that the peopleof the Province of Sarangani be given full opportunity to celebratethe occasion with appropriate ceremonies.”

“All heads of provincial department are hereby enjoined to participate in all activities as this commemorates our achievements with fitting celebration,” said Vicente Camacho III, provincial administrator. “To ensure that expected workloads are carried out as requested even during holiday, job order employees and those under contract of service shall take on official time as they render services and specific task assignment on November 25 in consideration to their daily rate.” (SARANGANI INFORMATION OFFICE)
