KIAMBA, Sarangani (December 4, 2007) – The Municipality of Kiamba opens its Farmers Information and Technology Services (FITS) Center with ribbon-cutting ceremonies by Engr. Arman Bionat (center) of the Department of Science and Technology, Mayor Rom Falgui (left) and Eng. Edgardo Salut (right), dean of the Mindanao State University College of Agriculture. The ceremonies on November 26 included the signing of the FITS Center memorandum of agreement. It is a joint project of the local government, Philippine Council for Agriculture, Forestry and Natural Resources Research and Development, Cotabato Agriculture and Resources Research and Development Consortium and the Mindanao State University.
