Sarangani upland rice museum


MANILA (December 12, 2007) – Herminia Lacna and Rose Bantilan show upland rice packaged in indigenous materials including the tools used in milling rice the traditional way at the launch December 3 of the first village museum in the Philippines at the National Museum in Manila. The museum to be established in Lamlifew village in Malungon, Sarangani will provide information and growing specimen of the dozens of varieties of upland rice that the B'laan have managed to nurture.
