ALABEL, Sarangani (December 6, 2008) - Chief Justice Reynato S. Puno (center), together with Justice on Wheels (JOW) Chairperson Justice Consuelo Ynares-Santiago (2nd from left), cut the ceremonial ribbon for the mobile court bus donated by the Sarangani provincial government to the judiciary. On November 28 is also launched the Enhanced JOW (EJOW) Program and the Increasing Access to Justice by the Poor Program, starting with the inauguration of the "Sarangani Justice on Wheels," a bus with a similar design as, albeit smaller in size than the three existing mobile courts the JOW Committee has been deploying all over the country to answer the twin challenges of clogged court dockets and congested jail facilities. The Provincial Government of Sarangani led by Governor Migs Dominguez (extreme left) donated the bus worth P900,000 – the first mobile court bus funded by a local government unit.
