Nature tripper

MAITUM, Sarangani (March 3, 2008) – Mark Rubia, a volunteer tourist guide, enjoys Kuyon Falls all by himself Saturday (Mar. 1) as his group of nature trippers scout the jungles of Maitum for potential tourist attractions in time for summer. The falls got its name from Datu Kuyon, a Tboli leader who owns the place. The three-layered Kuyon Falls is fast becoming a favorite destination. It can be trekked in 30 minutes from barangay Wali provincial road, not far from the route to the river-tubing facility in barangay New La Union. (Photo by MAITUM INFORMATION OFFICE)
