ALABEL, Sarangani (September 11, 2008) - Dr. Eusebio Dizon, head of National Museum archaeological team, confirms Thursday, September 11 the authenticity of the artifacts as "genuine" and "good pieces". The broken jars, similar to Dizon's finds in Pinol Cave in Maitum town in 1991 dating back 2,000-1,500 years ago, were recovered by Maitum police loaded in a tricycle in sitio Cawa, barangay Mabay from a banca reportedly coming from Palimbang, Sultan Kudarat on August 19.
