The activity forms part of the Child-Friendly Space in Crisis Situation program, a week-long affair initiated by the local government that aims to give psychological help among children who are heavily distressed during the peace and order crisis in the community over the past weeks. The program was backed by World Vision, ACT for Peace in Mindanao, Peace Network, Alcantara Foundation Inc., Philippine National Police, Armed Forces of the Philippines, Jesuit Volunteers of the Philippines, Department of Education, Project ClassROM and Sarangani Provincial Government.
