Swim-Across-the Bay


GLAN, Sarangani (June 4, 2007) – A swimmer of Maasim's MJ Fighters B dives during the 15-kilometer Swim-Across-Sarangani Bay race Thursday in what was the longest open ocean marathon swimming competition in the country and probably in Asia. MJ Fighters B finished second (2:55: 01.29 hours) and went home with P25,000. The 1st prize of P40,000 was won by the Dadiangas Torpedoes A who successfully defended their title with a record time of 2:50:15.23 hours. It took the Dadiangas Torpedoes team of General Santos City 04:05:18 hours to cross Sarangani Bay first last year. (Photo by SARANGANI INFORMATION OFFICE/CAS)
