MAITUM, Sarangani (February 4, 2008) – A children's rondalla performs at the town hall Monday, February 4, as the municipality opens the celebration of Culture & Arts Month with the theme "Alay ng Sining para sa Sarangani 2008." Activities during the month include a painting contest "Paint My Culture", symposium on "Culture of Peace and Maitum Jars", storytelling, playing of indigenous instruments, and "SAYAWIT". A tribal parade with their respective ethnic costume and revival of "Katutubong Laro" on February 29 will culminate the Culture and Arts month celebration. (Photo by MAITUM INFORMATION OFFICE)
