MAASIM, Sarangani (April 8, 2010) - Tirso Santillan Jr., Conal Holdings Corporation CEO and EVP, signs the memorandum of agreement between Conal Holdings and the local government of Maasim represented by Mayor Jojo Lopez as witnessed by Governor Migs Dominguez (standing) and Datu Tungko Saikol (left, seated) during the launching of the 13 million dollars agro-forestry project in a 7,500 hectares of denuded upland barangays of Maasim Thursday, April 8, in sitio Kiomad, barangay Amsipit. This agro-forestry project will serve both as the carbon sink of the Conal Holdings 200mw power plant and a source of living for the 3,500 farmers mostly Blaan and Tboli living in the area.
