MAITUM, Sarangani (November 7, 2008) - A representative from Salidok-Balunok Farmers Association of barangay Zion receives P250,000 worth of check Tuesday, November 4, from Mayor Elsie Perrett as initial assitance for their identified project. Three other people's organizations from the Tboli villages of Kiayap, Wali, and Batian are getting the same amount from the municipal government. Joining Mayor Perrett are Dan Sentillas and Anacleto Hernando of Mindanao Rural Development Program, provincial agriculturist Jonathan Duhaylungsod, provincial administrator Fred Basino, Zion barangay chairman Cayetano Ramos (partly hidden) and the farmers' representative.
