MAITUM, Sarangani (November 19, 2008) - This vegetable farm is owned by the municipal government and managed by six high school students from barangays Batian and Wali. They were provided by the municipal agriculturist with a nipa hut where they could stay during school days while at the same time plant vegetables, raise pigs and ducks. Income from the vegetable farm is given back to the students for their allowance and subsistence.
