MALAPATAN, Sarangani (July 31, 2007) – Governor Migs Dominguez (2nd, left) leads officials in the formal opening of a 2.15-kilometer road project Tuesday (July 31) at sitio Lanao Mafnoh where only horses used to carry farm products to the town site via the old trail. The new road connects to two other villages, reaching out to more than 2,000 households at the town's outskirts. The road is one of the self-help projects in Sarangani funded by the World Bank through the Kapit Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan-Comprehensive Integrated Delivery of Social Services: Kaunlaran at Kapangyarihan sa Barangay (KALAHI-CIDSS: KKB) program of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.
