MAASIM, Sarangani (September 16, 2007) - Navy troops teach school kids Saturday, September 15, in Tinoto, Maasim how to plant mangrove seedlings during the 22nd International Coastal Clean-Up day and nationwide launching of Green Philippine's Program for Mangrove Planting. The coastal clean-up and mangrove planting was spearheaded by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and participated in by different civic and school organizations, the local governments of Maasim and Sarangani Province.
