OTOP Mango

MALUNGON, Sarangani (July 28, 2007) – The municipality of Malungon, Sarangani’s only landlocked town which is traversed by the General Santos City-Davao City national highway, opens a roadside pasalubong center Friday (July 27) with local officials led by Mayor Reynaldo Constantino (center) and board member Art Lawa (2nd, left) unveiling a billboard to launch the Sarangani Golden Mango brand for the export market. Mango is the One Town One Product (OTOP) of Malungon and the provincial OTOP of Sarangani. Malungon, the biggest mango producing town in Region 12, eyes the vast Middle East market and Australia .
