Hundreds of persons including her family have fled a village where encounters between Moro Islamic Liberation Front forces who killed two innocent civilians in the town raid August 18 and the military broke out. The province's Area Coordinating Center, with its quick response team and Kalinaw (Peace) Sarangani Unit, has been receiving donations from Association of Catholic Doctors, Nurses, and Health Professional in Asia (ACIM-Asia) and United Nations' Act for Peace and facilitating relief operations to the affected families.
