MAITUM, Sarangani (March 13, 2009) - Mayor Elsie Perrett (right) officiates the civil rite for 40 Tboli couples during their mass wedding at the village gym of New La Union. The mass wedding was one of the main activities during the “Dumanon Kailian” outreach program.“Dumanon Kailian” is an Ilocano phrase to “welcome people from the same place” and adopted by the municipal government as the name of its program that regularly delivers basic services to the villages of Maitum.
