MALAPATAN, Sarangani (June 4, 2008) – Pupils of the Datu Pangolima Elementary School in barangay Sapu Padidu wave flaglets Wednesday, June 4, as they welcome Secretary of Education Jesli Lapus and local officials during the groundbreaking ceremony of a two-classroom building. The project is jointly funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Education Quality and Access for Learning and Livelihood Skills (EQuALLS2) and Petron Foundation, kicking off the USAID-Petron four-year support to the Department of Education's (DepED) construction and rehabilitation of classrooms in Mindanao.
