Crab fattening project

MAITUM, Sarangani (May 5, 2008) - Mayor Elsie Perrett visits the crab fattening project of the municipality in barangay Old Poblacion Sunday, May 4. The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) has donated fishnets, other materials, and an initial crab hatchings of 216 after a BFAR training on crab fattening with the locals on April 1. Another batch of crab hatchlings will be introduced last week of May to complete the 1,500 hatchlings BFAR set to deliver.
