MAASIM, Sarangani (May 2, 2008) – A cargo vessel makes its passage from Sarangani Bay to Celebes Sea. For centuries, the bay has been an economic route among traders and navigators. As a tribute to the bounty of the bay, Sarangani is celebrating its 3rd Sarangani Bay Festival on May 16-18 with beach sports, fishing and cooking contests, and other races highlighted by the swim across the bay.
