DAVAO CITY (August 26, 2006 ) – Sarangani Governor Migs Dominguez and Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte meet the press as they officially join the Madyaas Confederacy movement. With the two Mindanao leaders is presidential chief of staff Michael Defensor. Dominguez and Duterte had their oath taking at the Marco Polo Hotel on August 18. National security is the primodial concern of the Madyaas Confederacy, to "provide the necessary environment so business will grow, cities will earn, people will have jobs," according to Defensor.
