GLAN, Sarangani (October 10, 2006) – Dr. Tranquilino Ruiz III shows his family collection of antiques that speak about the history ofGlan, Sarangani's oldest municipality at 92. On the right is a cabinet(Comoda) made by a Japanese craftsman in Glan for her grandmother Sra.Concepcion Yap Ruiz. Although a practicing physician, Dr. Ruiz has built a reputation of showing locals and tourist the glorious past ofGlan with his collection of antiques, literature and personal accountof the town's heritage.
