Unusual haze in Kiamba

KIAMBA, Sarangani (September 4, 2006) – A farmer carries newly-harvested palay at 12:17 PM tuesday unmindful of the unusually thick haze of smoke that has covered the Daguma mountain range behind him in the coastal barangay of Nalus which is facing Celebes Sea. The smoke haze, which partly obscured sunlight, was observed in thecoastal towns of Sarangani province while motoring from General SantosCity to Maasim, Kiamba and Maitum.
